Had me wondering, but how many games do you think you complete every year or so?

I average around 35-40 games a year, which probably is quite low compared to others. I should really pick up the pace and complete more, but I usually get distracted by the internet or mulitplayer games and never really give the games the proper time they deserve unless I just outright force myself to play them or they're just good games. I also have a habit of playing games in order, so I'll usually have to deal with the crappier early entries before getting to the better later ones that I wouldn't mind sinking time into.

How about you people, who still browse this forum? How many would you say you complete a year?

None, I almost never complete games and rarely ever completely replay games I've already beaten.

I go through cycles of playing one game, losing interest before it's beaten, then finding another game to focus on. Eventually I come back to complete one of the unfinished games but that's hardly ever within a year of when I started it.

Like I'm probably about to finish a play through of Oracle of Ages I started in like June.

That's very difficult to determine. Sometimes I finish a game in one sitting, sometimes I go a month without beating a single one. On top of that there's plenty of games you can't exactly "complete" like online shooters or games in which the requirements for completion are debatable like Super Smash Ultimate. I've also become more likely to not finish games and leave them untouched for months like I did with Darksiders II.

Judging from the last 2 months I'd have to say the amount for me is ~20 or so games.

Usually none, but if i do complete a game than i usually complete 1 a year and maybe 2 if it's a good year.
I've actually completed 1 game in 2018 and one this year....huh. How rare.

Probably about 10~25. I don't get new games all that often and unless I'm playing a short game or one that I consider top priority to finish (either because I really like it or I don't want story spoilers for it),
I usually don't finish more than 2 or 3 games per month, if I even do that month.
